I'm 42. Look at my post. Went to McKinley HS in BR. A real hoodrat turned to rap and made something of himself. some of his lyrics are pretty real and gritty when talking about shite in the poor hoods in BR.
For locals from South La, that's not just music but a glimpse into a life we never experienced in the whitebread burbs and going to college and whatnot.
Knock it all you want but he's successful for a reason and it's not lipsyncing.
