Need a somewhat longer one. (that's what she said)
Any cheap, but quality suggestions? I typically steer away from the cheap ones due to crappy reliability but willing to listen.

It’s an iPhone charger bro. Just buy a cheap on one amazon and replace it every 4-6 months.
No need to over think this.

A piece of heat shrink tubing applied when the cord is new will make the cord last longer or forever. I have a cord that's 5 years old.

I bought a 6ft one from Verizon 2 years ago and has not crapped out on me yet. I'm pretty rough on chargers, this one has lasted longer than any other cord I've had to get for whatever reason since then.

10 foot charger at 5 below for 5 bucks. Been working for 2 months with no problem.

Get a braided charging cable with data block. It only sends power to the device and no data, so if you plug it into your computer it only charges, doesn't sync any data.
Supposed to be a faster charge, and braided cable is more durable.

What the hell are y’all doing to your cords that make them look like this?

I've bought a few of those for the family. They can be hit and miss. A couple lasted a month or two; others have lasted six months or more. But they're five bucks, so it's worth the gamble.

yea, I have just had bad luck with chargers crapping out fast. Just ordered an Amazon Basics one. We'll see how it goes.
