Weber genesis. I’ve had mine about two years and is looking great. I do a full clean every 3-6 months.

If you're not using cast iron grates to cook and sear steaks on you're not doing it right. Those thin metal grates everywhere aren't worth a crap.

I'm about to get downvoted, but frick it.

I had someone get me a Ninja Woodfire Grill as a Christmas present. I had a Treager so I still do not know why they gave me that, but anyway I have used it a few times. It is only the 2 of us now that the kids are grown and this thing is small. I really like it. I like it alot. Basically quit using the pellet grill.

Oh, it isn't really a grill. It is just an outdoor convection oven that introduces wood pellet smoke. Does Pecana, Tri tip, steaks, ribs and even a small brisket better than the pellet ever did.

I have a Camp Chef Woodwind that is 4 years old and still going strong. I use it for everything from smoking briskets and pork butts to grilling chicken and pork chops.

I still prefer a hot charcoal grill for burgers and steaks, and I got a Weber kettle knockoff at Lowes that does the trick.

Camp chef pellet smoker

Ive had this for 3 years and ive done a few briskets, beef ribs, pork ribs, pork butt.. all have come out fantastic … cheaper than a treager and honestly its all i need..i had an issue with a metal tray getting warped inside which was really my fault for not putting the rain cover on it and they sent me a new one for free..

i had a green egg but i have 2 small kids and didnt have time to baby sit it. I just set the temp and let it do its thing

I’ve had a Primo XL with extended racks for 12 years. If you want only one grill to grill/ smoke on ; it’s a ceramic!

PK charcoal pit is a 65 year old favorite, cast aluminum last forever

Charbroil radient does a pretty good job but 2-3 uses a week will burn out the hardware

Charbroil direct flame is really hard to control flame bursts due to grease

Blackston griddle great for bacon, eggs, flat steaks. Does not do well with ribs, chicken. I have one currently

Wood fired bbq, great flavor

Except for the PK, corrosion kills them all sooner or later

I might have to try this one. I have owned several ninja products over the years and they have all been spectacular.

Been having the ok 360 for 6 years. It's the best grill/smoker I've ever had. The 4 separate vents make controlling the heat super easy

If you’re looking for a grill that will last a lifetime, then look at the PK Grill. Also, blaze makes an all aluminum egg that will last forever as well.

PK Grills

Blaze Kamado Egg Grill

Best grills I’ve ever had. All aluminum and will last a lifetime.

Several people made good points about the fact that depending on what type of grilling you want to do, the answer will vary. There are some amazing products to choose from and tons of videos on YouTube about each grill.

My wife (no pics) gave me the Pit Boss Lexington pellet grill from Walmart for Chrismas. I know, pellet grills aren't sexy like the fancier grills and some people call it an Easy Bake Oven. But I'll tell you, I'm turning out some really tasty food from it. For anyone considering a pellet grill just know there is a bit of a learning experience. But it doesn't take long to learn about it. I will say that it doesn't pump out the smoke like propane or wood grills do. But it does put out a cleaner smoke that does flavor the meat or poultry. You can add a smoke tube for more smoke if you want and that works well. But the convenience of setting the thermostat and not having to watch over fluctuating temps is wonderful. If you want to get fancier with other grills then definitely go for it. But for around $400 the Lexington Pit Boss pellet grill works great for me. I recommend getting the grill cover to protect it outside. My other suggestion for anyone who has a pellet grill is to spend time finding a good quality pellet product. Not all pellet products are the same and some use filler and flavoring products. Bear Mountain makes good pellet products. I'm also really liking the Lumberjack 100% hickory pellets. Academy Sports carries both brands that are very affordable.

As I get older, I realize I want simple and idiot proof (yes, I am an idiot).

This little "grill" is both.
