I'm pretty sure my dog's allergic to chicken so we've been very happy with Orijen, Regional Red to be exact. We order it from chewy.com, which is also fantastic. It's not cheap, but my dog is the shite and I love him more than 99% of the dipshit humans I come across. The least I can do is buy him some good food for never being an a-hole when I get home.

My parent's boxers have to eat grain free food. If they eat food that isn't grain free, they scratch like crazy. Mom orders online and has it delivered. I know it's much cheaper. I don't know the website, unfortunately.
Her last post. So sorry.

Purina pro plan
Blue buffalo
//Cue holistic dog food debate
My dog had allergies and did fine on those foods. (Look for salmon ingredients)
Also consider making your own (brown rice, peas, ground turkey, apple chunks) my dog enjoyed that. Would just cook a big batch on Sunday and it lasted most of the week

My heeler itched really bad for a while. I changed him to grain free food and there hasn't been a problem since. +1 for Kirkland Nature's Domain brand, we rotate between the 3 or 4.

Natural Balance
I second Natural Balance. Have a dog with some sort of respiratory allergy. Put him on the limited ingredient Natural Balance food a couple of years ago and he's been good as gold ever since.

Merrick Grain Free.
Check out their Backcountry line. My pooch doesn't have allergies but I feed him that regardless. He literally just about pees himself when he hears me putting food in his bowl. His vet even admitted that it's a very good brand of pet food, even though they sell a couple of different brands at their clinic. He's (my pooch) been eating the Merrick brand of dog food since he was old enough to do so. I had him on the Merrick puppy formula prior to the Backcountry recipes. I mix a bag (all Backcountry recipes) of the salmon with a bag of different recipe whenever he needs more food. Basically he gets the salmon mixed in with a different recipe that we rotate on every new purchase.
ETA: The reason for the salmon recipe is for his skin and coat. He doesn't have any problems and never did but the "fish oil" is good for his skin and makes his coat (hypoallergenic) shine like all get out.
Sorry for the rant.

Our highly pedigreed, high powered, field champion lab loves that stuff. Unfortunately, like OP's dog, he's allergic to it, along with a lot of other stuff. It's been an ordeal finding something he can eat that he likes. We've hit on a combination of Hills Adult Fitness (dry) and Hills Liver Care (canned) at about a 3-1 ratio. He's been on it about six months and doesn't turn his nose up at it unless his allergies are really real bad.
You might try Eukanuba. Our lab hates it, but individual tastes vary, and it's hypoallergenic. There are also a lot of small batch dogfood makers. They're easy to find on google.
