Yeah, I've stayed at almost every resort at least once.. Grand Floridian is my pic, the wife and kids prefer Polynesian.. But I've also stayed at almost every resort. including Allstar Music,

I've never stayed at the Grand Floridian, but I would totally pick the Poly or even Wilderness Lodge over it. Both great resorts. I prefer the atmospheres there.

Boardwalk. I like being able to walk to EPCOT and HS. Great for when you need a break in the middle of the day. Or going from one park to another and stopping at the room to refresh. Biggest issue is the bus stop, though.

ETA: I'm a DVC member. But if I wasn't, I would say Beach Club for the reasons I listed and adding in the pool. But the Beach Club Villas are really small, so I pick Boardwalk over those.

We stayed at the Yacht Club back in October because I wanted that quick entrance into Epcot for Food & Wine. It was freaking awesome. The pool area is easily my favorite on property.

It's a hotel room. You're there to sleep. Transportation really isn't so bad. Although, it's probably good if you keep your expectations low and be pleasantly surprised when it goes smoothly. If your dates are September, you're going in one of the least crowded times of the year.

Staying in little mermaid room next week. I'll lyk how it goes. From what I hear, the only problem is the LONG walk to the busses. But it was the same way last time we stayed in an all star resort. I'm actually thinking of driving over from the room to the busses. Not for the morning, but so we don't have to carry kids all the way back at night.

Two years old is too young for Disney. Why not wait until they are 5 or 6 and can enjoy many more of the rides?

This is actually their second visit.....we took them when they were 6 months old. My wife and I really like Disney and we are going to the LSU/Florida game anyway (like I stated earlier wife has family in Gainesville)...plus it's not like we need to pay admission for the girls. That being said, I still think they will get a lot of enjoyment out of the trip. Maybe they won't remember it when they're 25, but my wife and I will. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see Cinderella's Castle.

We went to Art of Animation to check it out in January (stayed at Pop Century) and it was pretty cool. The pool area looks great and the theming there was impressive. The food court is easily the best of any of the value resorts and, at least while we were there, it had its own dedicated bus to and from the parks unlike the All Stars.

Just saw this on Twitter....here is what is available right now as a fourth FP+ option at Epcot. Now, it's summer so it's busy but as you can see, don't count on alot.

It's one of the busiest weeks of the summer. School is starting next week for some states. Florida starts on the 18th I think.

Yep. We will be going back in June again for the Star Wars weekends. It wasn't too bad - a lot of people, but not the woe is me crowds that some on here like to cry about.

Not that I have ever heard of or have seen. (Non Disney) Places that have free airport transportation do not have transportation to Disney parks and vice-versa.

By the time you pay for a one way Mears shuttle, you may end up doing better adding one night to your stay.

Which Hilton? The one by Sea World on International Drive?

You're going to pay for Mears to get you there, then take their park transportation to Downtown Disney, then take a Disney bus to Art of Animation? With all your luggage?

What are your travel plans?

You say you are getting in late Wednesday night and are staying at AoA?

my wife and I get in at like 11 on Wed night. The rest of the group arrives Thurs around 10. We are staying at AoA from Thurs-Mon. Was planning on getting a room with hotel points, sleep there and then meet up with the others Thursday morning at AoA.

Wed Night Room is free. Need transport from airport wed night and to AoA thurs morning.

Was thinking HILTON ORLANDO LAKE BUENA VISTA
1751 HOTEL PLAZA BOULEVARD, LAKE BUENA VISTA, which costs me 8,000 chase ultimate reward points

other choice is Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort which is like 6,000 pts

Are they flying Southwest and using Magical Express? If so, send our luggage with them. Pack what you need for one night in a carry on and send the rest with them with the yellow tags on so it goes straight to their room.

Any cab will run you about at least $15-$20 with tip from just about anywhere on property to anywhere else. Coming from 5+ miles off and I'd say you're looking at least a $25 cab fare for the trip to AoA.

As far as the airport, Mears charges $22 per person to get from the airport to those hotels. A cab if about $50.

Here is a link to a mears cab fare estimator:

So, you would be looking at about $70 in transportation.

You could also rent a car for one day or just add a day to your AoA resort stay.
