I have enjoyed every stage of my life, and also disliked each at the same time.
Currently the best days are spent fighting with my toddler to stop doing every single thing he does. But then that sigh of relief hits when its time for daycare (I call Monday a parent's Friday)! And I still want to pick him up early because I miss him at the end of the day.
That's how you know you're in your best days. IMO. Things are tough, and life sucks. Don't dwell on the past being your best days, make them now.

Sophomore and Junior year of college, was starting right field. Was single, for the majority of it and took full advantage

I partied a shite ton while on active with the the Army, didn’t have a lot of money from 19-22. Saw many different parts of the U.S. and deployed abroad, which was something I probably wouldn’t have done without this experience.
LSU was fun, however I felt really, really old

I agree. One young buck is 1 1/2 years old. The other is in the womb. That lil man makes my mornings and evenings better than I would have ever imagined. Happy to retire my slut belt for an amazing time in life.

I have an 8 month old daughter that said da-da for the first time a couple of days ago. That’s been the best day of my life up to this point.
College was a fricking blast. I miss Halloween in tiger land more than anything but time marches on and your priorities will change. While it was fun I don’t miss it nearly as much as I do fishing with my grandpa. I’d do anything to get another day with him on the water.

No. College was fun, but I’m 26, in better shape than I was 4 years ago, no kids, and get my first big boy check tomorrow after finishing grad school. Can’t wait to start traveling. Plus I still get hammered for LSU games
I’m going to kick your arse if I ever identify you

2002-2004 when I was 23-25 years old. Already been married for 3+ years; newborn son; first time we had some extra money to play with; lived within a two minute walk of a South Pacific beach. Life was good.
I’m presently entering another good run. I’m very lucky.

Wtf. If college or high school was your peak then you are a sad human being.
The best day of my life so far was the birth of my son, and will be followed next Feb by the birth of my daughter.
School? That was a means to an end and I'm glad it's over.

My college years in Athens were good - and sometimes great - times, but that was then. Would I go back and do it all over again? No. I have a good life now, not as rich as I'd like to be, but I have two awesome kids. And I wouldn't trade that for the world.

Now and this has been true for me since I can remember.

No, when I was younger even in college I was very insecure which prevented me from enjoying lots of things. The older I get, the less I give a frick and it’s hard for me to understand what made me tick that way. Life has gotten better for me.
