Our giving has taken a personal direction in the past decade or so also. Families with losses/foster children/emergencies/illnesses etc are there if you look and talk to neighbors, friends, and fellow church members.

Ever since Hurricane Katrina, Salvation Army is my favorite.
They were the only effective relief workers that I witnessed anywhere.

Catholic Charities has contributed to bringing in illegals in the past.

Give to the Food Bank.

It’s a group home for Down’s and other people with disabilities.
