I wouldn’t recommend training your dog by hitting him with any book.

I’d take this to the outdoor board but I would buy the set of dvds by Mike Lardy Total Retriver training and use that program. They aren’t cheap but worth every penny.

Hey Pup, Fetch it Up is the greatest book on training a lab for Field Trials and/or hunting.

Not only a good hunting book but a good book for all around family dog. I have an autographed edition.
