Wife and I are considering going artificial this year. Where did you get yours and are you happy with it?

There is no such thing.

I advise getting an artificial tree with lights if you can get one without. The lights will eventually go out and you'll still have to add lights. I learned that the hard way.

Whatever’s on sale at the Home Depot for under $150.
Get 2-3 years out of it and you’re even to ahead.
More is just icing on the cake.

I bought mine on amazon from National Tree Company.
I would recommend getting a slim if space is an issue. I got the Carolina pine and the damn thing is huge. Tons of layers so there are zero gaps where you can see through. Multiple types of branches, pine cones etc. and it’s pre lit white.
The 7.5 ft is current on sale for $277.

the best artificial tree is the one you buy after Christmas for 1/3 the current cost.

FIFY, and I agree. If you get a prelit tree, you'll eventually have to cut the light strands off it which is a pain in the arse. Plus it's a little easier assemble, disassemble, and store when you don't have light cords hanging off the tree segments.

Balsam Hill makes the nicest ones I've seen, but they're expensive.
Costco probably has the best value. And I think Costco color lights are better than Balsam Hill color lights, if you're looking for more than just white.

Figure any artificial tree will need replacing in 3-5 yrs. pick one that looks good, fits your needs, and at a good price. Check out Hobby Lobby, Home Goods, and Big Lots trees.
