Best: Rage @ voodoo 10' from the stage.

Worst: Just bought tickets to Drake at XS, at 37 I feel like it will be terrible..but that's what the old lady wanted? we'll see.

Believe it or not Imagine Dragons put on one hell of a show last summer in Nashville. I was blown away.

Best ever was Rage Against the Machine lalapalooza 96.

Worst limp bizkit circa 2001, but DMX opened for them and was awesome.

My wife is a big Kenny Chesney, we've seen him 4 times and he was really good all 4 times.

Better Than Ezra is great live.

Rascal Flatts had a good show.

But hands down the best I've seen live was Styx at the Houma Civic Center.

Worst I've seen was Tool at Lakefront Arena..... and I like Tool.

Honorable mention for worst Chrap Trick at the Voodoo Music fest

Yep. Hated Tool until I worked my way up to the front row for that performance. OK, I got it.

Worst:

Hard to say. When an artist is having a bad night I can tell pretty quickly and will just dip out of the show. It happens.

Kid Rock played at Stagecoach several years ago, he was totally drunk on stage, and a total embarrassment. Dropping the F-bomb like it was nothing. I'm glad he was a late show, we had kids with us and we left

We saw Rob Zombie with Korn a few years ago and they both put on a really good show.

ETA: In This Moment opened for them and they were good as well imo.

I second Allen Jackson is boring. George Straight is also a very boring concert. Both have great music but they could put a greatest hits CD on and accomplish the same thing. They are both very vanilla

Peter Frampton ar The Warehouse was the best. Led Zeppelin was good but I don’t remember where it was. FleetwoodMac/Marshall Tucker was the worst in City Park stadium. It was a daytime concert and hot as hell.

Worst: Pink Floyd

Best: Green Day (multiple times), Beastie Boys (multiple times), The Ramones, Jerry Reed, Stone Temple Pilots

I saw David Allan Coe one time at Casino Magic in Gulfport (?) about 20 years ago and the dude was so wasted- he mumbled the songs, mumbled when he was talking, and said ‘frick’ just about every other word. How is he still alive?

Other than Garth, I wouldn't expect much of an actual show at a country music concert.

This sentence is incredible

My contribution: I'll go off the grid a little for "best". I saw The Fixx play the Varsity a couple years ago and they were awesome. All the original members are intact and they still rock.

Ms Gato got tickets to Sting with Annie Lennox . She made the show . Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers never disappointed..

ZZ Top , Fleetwood Mac , JG band , at the old Tulane stadium was the worst . We had just left the floor to go back to were we all set up when a riot broke out . It looked like 20000 people all started running at one time . Not good

Worst - Guns N Roses at Superdome in 1992, Van Halen at Centroplex in late 80s/early 90s

Was this when they were touring together and Faith No More opened? If so I was at that show and totally agree.

Best: Metallica at UNO in the early 90s
Shinedown at a small outdoor festival in Texas. Band is tight and Smith can just flat out sing. Did a cover of Bloodletting that was phenomenal.

Worst: Crazy Town at End Fest in Nola. Singer was obviously fricked up and it’s no surprise latter on he died of a OD.

ETA: The Cult at this same show was really really good.
Live was really good. Ed can sing his arse off
Toad the wet Sprocket also put on a good show.

I was there. UNO, 1996. I can confirm the awesomeness.

Up front getting crushed- the most-scared I’ve ever been at a concert.

Someone stage-dived,ran across the stage and grabbed their upside-down American flag and jumped back. They refused to play until they got the flag back. :-D
