I lived in Texas for a year as a teenager during the heyday of World Class Championship Wrestling in the mid 80’s. Of course the entrances in those days were very different than today’s video boards, etc. But if you never experienced the Freebirds entering to The opening notes of Freebird or Kerry von Erichs coming out to Tom Sawyer you have no idea. The explosion of the crowd was phenomenal. The Texas crowds were fully engaged and invested in the von Erich family. They were royalty in those days. Those entrances would put today’s to shame in my opinion.

Yep that was awesome. Nobody these days would ever get anywhere close to a reaction like that.

The sound of glass breaking for Stone Cold always got the people hyped up

Defined the whole era. I loved the Rock too, but when the glass broke you know it was on.

New Jack was my favorite in ECW. He had a great choice of music. Natural Born Killaz-NWA

Gorgeous George had fans fuming at his entrances. He was an original, for sure. Youtube

Saw Hacksaw Jim Duggan at the Hirsch coliseum back in 97/98. The greatest entrance I ever witnessed was at the same event when Scott Hall came out to the Fugees "ready or not". My buddies and I were obsessed with the Outsiders and the nWo at the time, so yeah, that was just too sweeeet. Has anybody mentioned Val Venus?

Another great one. When that music started all kids would come in from playing outside at noon on Saturdays and gather around the tv to see the "Thump"

I know there have been much better, but I've always liked the Road Warriors running in and wrecking shite with Ironman playing.

When The Rock came back in 2011 after being gone for 7 years. Loudest pop I've ever heard.
