5 minutes before seeing this I had just cashed out and deleted my barstool betting app because it sucked. Trying to place a bet and what they have is so limited. And they log you out every few days.

And what went down was a perfect storm of sorts and could have easily been an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Mintz finally starts his own thing with Wake Up Mintzy after years of trying to find something.
He does a week or 2 of episodes then has to take a day off for a funeral. He goes to Barstool Headquarters for his 10K redemption, which is a big winner for him content-wise, and also promises live shows in the office for a week. He pre-records one of those "live" shows because he has to go to a friend's wedding. Portnoy and Big Cat give him a hard time about it and jokingly start the #cancelmintzy on Friday (4/28).
The following Monday, to prove he can do a live show, Mintzy goes live and because it's May 1st, he attempts to sing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's 1st of tha Month. Unfortunately for him, he forgot to black out the n bombs in the printout of the lyrics he had.
I also read that he inadvertenly flashed a reflection of a DraftKings logo on his phone when he went to show the time to prove he was live.

Other than meeting him a few times and casually being in the same place as him we have no relationship.
It's just asinine to see people online with minimal to no qualifications or experience claim to experts in judging someone as a no talent frick-wad when his content obviously created engagements and viewership.
Portnoy is a douche and a hypocrite but he isn't stupid. If Mintzy wasn't good at bringing people to their different platforms (even if by accident) he would have been fired long long ago for one of his many multiple mishaps. Just because you don't like the content or creator doesnt make it bad...it just means you don't like it. Your reality is not reality...it's just your opinion.

I would guess he can be back on 104.5 by Monday if he wants. Jimmy Ott is pried with with BetRivers so I would guess there is an opportunity there as he goes way back with Mintzy.
If he wants to hustle he can assuredly pair up with Devin Snow (Hold the Mayo) and they can create together but I honestly think Devin was holding out and hoping for a Barstool spot himself.

He had "After Dinner Mintz" for a bit where he started with the "sup fellas" thing. That video of him reading the bone thugz lyrics is cringe though. He immediately had a brain malfunction after saying THE WORD. He knew he was fkd.

Snow already cut that story off before it could get legs. He's all in on building his brand on his own after years of grinding and finally getting some traction. He tweeted about it yesterday.
Now, if Barstool, actually did come calling to pair him up with Megan Makin Money to be the Louisiana representatives since Barstool Sportsbooks at both Lauberge's, it could be hard to say no.
