I second this.
Hank's "Gunner" model is superb. Sign up for their emails and you'll get a pretty good discount. Then unsubscribe.

There are a few things in life for which you should not skimp on quality. Shoes. Mattress. Garbage bags. Pistols and other guns. And your belt. A full grain leather belt of solid construction will last a lifetime. Hank's Belts have a 100 yr warranty.
Note: Do not buy a "bonded" leather belt, nor "genuine" or top-grain". You'll probably be wasting your money over the long haul. Only single layer full grain leather in the 12-14 oz range for a belt, and preferably with a roller buckle. If not Hank's, you can find the same qualities by 1791, Nohma, Daltech, or similar. Invest in a small tub of Sno-seal or leather conditioner for soaking, and let it dry/buff after a few days. This will soften up the belt and increase flexibility without losing strength.
THIS ONE looks pretty reasonable on features and price but I've never bought one. Might be worth a try.

Thank you. I never cease to be amazed when the figs on this site start talking about clothes.
I get mine from L.L. Bean.

My go to is Johnston Murphy. They have belts that match their shoes. Good quality for the price.

Been having the same belt forever. Probably go Hanks or Saddleback if I ever decide to get a pretty one

I don’t have any specific type of belt that i would make sure a buy.
I just found one that i liked and bought it.
If something happens to it, i will do the same thing again and just find one i like and buy it
