Being called Sir

I get called sir, and still call people sir.

It’s not that weird.

Depends on location.

In some Spanish-speaking countries, you always call a woman Señorita because Señora is implying she's old.

It’s called respect... and it’s something that’s taught.
Unfortunately not enough.

I don't know. I was probably a teenager when customer service types started calling me sir. Somewhere in my twenties when youngsters. I guess it all depends on context.

It’s stupid. You show respect through your actions, not by calling someone “sir”

I’m 26 and get called sir by college kids. Weird AF

People who make a big deal when someone calls them sir/Mr. are fricking idiots.

I especially hate when you say Mr. Smith and they’re like call me Jim, Mr. Smith was my dad.

You know what, just stfu and accept that the person is trying to be respectful.
