It’s definitely heavy on the melodrama, but I think it will be an effective video. They focused on the need to come together and remove Destroya while not demonizing her. The “wishing Teedy well” bit may reach some of her supporters and make them realize that the recall effort is not a witch hunt but rather an effort to better the community and restore some order to the city. I think their messaging makes for effective propaganda (and I use the term “propaganda” not in a negative sense but in a political messaging sense.)

also the dude who made the video is JD Carrere who is an independent journalist in NOLA and who actually has some sense. There is ZERO chance anyone here is going to agree with the politics of any of the people organizing this, but I do think they are on the right side of history here
