The problem with women - in general - is that their SMV (sexual market value) peaks very early in life and then declines sharply over time. Their two most desirable assets (sexual attractiveness and the ability to have kids) are often gone by midlife. This leads to desperation as they age because younger, more desirable women are constantly entering the dating pool.
Men hit their peak SMV at a later age and can mostly maintain it over time. Time is not as hard on the male body and is better for net worth, so men don’t have that same sense of desperation as we age. The single/divorced 45 year old man doesn’t fear the single 25 year old man. Our two most desirable assets (the ability to provide and have kids) are actually stronger in midlife. And men who stay in shape can maintain a high level of physical attractiveness and formidability well into midlife. And if your net worth is high enough you can still land women decades younger than you.
Going back to women, they crave control as they age. They want kids and/or a ring not just for the obvious reasons but so that they won’t be abandoned and left with nothing when they are too old to compete with their younger counterpart. They want to be in a position to have alimony, child support, or half your shite if things go south.

If you can find someone in real life, and not on the internet, I’d imagine your odds increase significantly. Personal interaction is key, and you can usually tell when a person is genuinely interested or not, which is difficult through text/social media

This discussion is beyond just finding a woman to have sex with. It's more about societal trends and the consequences of luxury culture and how it's basically making society not just miserable but trending towards extinction.
Turns out thousands of years of flourishing societies putting sex WITHIN marriage was actually more right than inspiration from Madonna and Beyonce songs/lifestyles along with academic theorizing against traditionalist at all costs.

Ability to make babies depends on the man. An older man who already has children might not care. A younger man who isn't ready to settle down might consider it a bonus if she's past that age.

Just speaking in general. All things being equal, time is harder on women than men from a SMV standpoint.
