I just used this joke on the gf. it worked perfectly.

I will never understand this. My parents have slept in different rooms for years and mom says it’s because of dads snoring. I hear of other married couples doing that too. My wife and I have been married 11 years (or 77
) and though we’ve fought many times in the past, we have never, ever even considered sleeping in different rooms and I can’t imagine doing that in the future. May I ask, what happened to make you start sleeping elsewhere?

Kids. My boys are four and six years old. I was tired of fighting them to sleep in their room. They wake up in the middle of the night and crawl in the bed and kick me in the kidneys all night so I gave up. Sleep in the guest room in a full size alone and actually sleep. The other reason is I stay up kinda late watching TV most nights and she goes to sleep for like 8 pm. This way I don't disturb her slumber.
