We live 20 mins from the airport. They could have said it would be x hrs wait. On the plane now and need to board and take off quickly or we will time out. Wish us luck baws.

Once spent a night in the Admirals club at DFW due to a weather delay. This was after my inbound was temporarily rerouted to Waco for several hours. It was still my worst flying experience ever.

That was us last Sunday trying to get out of Houston with a major weather delay. No fun. Hopefully you have access to IPads, phones, YouTube and a bar for you and the wife.

We planned flights around nap times and had a bottle for takeoff and landing. He did great. So it was lucky they cancelled our flights and we were put on the same ones the day after.
