no. Google people with beards untrustworthy. Actually used to be a thing 50ish years ago.

I say go for it. Make sure you wear your rapists glasses to make the look complete.

Different times. You need to know your boss and company. But you are hired already so who cares.

I'd say it is fine if well groomed. As mentioned though if you are Duck Dynasty? Unless you are working for Whole Foods you'll look foolish.

I googled "well manicured beard" and it was all models and celebs that people think are attractive so I didn't want to use those examples. Would come off as douchey

So here's an average looking famous person with a beard very similar to mine:

If you anticipate having it more often then not, then take the photo with it, shave for the summer, and when it grows back your photo is relevant for 3/4 of the year.

If you work for Smith Brothers, the odds are that you'll be alright if you keep the beard-

My boss shaved his beard for our website photos. He regretted it as he's barely recognizable.

ETA: if you think others may laugh and reference the picture (like we do with his picture), you may want to keep the beard. I'd just groom it and tighten it up the day of.

You should shave it far enough ahead to not look sickly if you do.
