Especially the northern half where the rain forests are. Not a big fan of the beaches here. I only go because I'm crabbing, clamming, or fishing.

Never to just hangout.

Same here. The beaches just depress me.

You're going to the wrong mountains.

The rules for boobs (and dick)

Mountains - Bring with you
Beaches - Find while you're there

Florida beaches. But I like all the beach festivities as well. I can go lay out and swim some and get some sun on a lazy Sunday, but I like to go to the beach to hang out, drink, check out or flirt with women, hit pool parties right off the beach, do the boardwalk, dining on the beach, going to beach bars, etc.

It is why I moved to south florida, have lived on or walking distance to the beach every since, and go to Lauderdale, Hollywood, or south beach about every other weekend on average over the course of the year.

Oh, and I like the mountains too. Been snow skiing about 20 times, rock climbing and rappelling and camping a few dozen times in the mountains as well.

Just ain't no hot chicks to pick up in or on the mountains 99% of the time.

A pristine sandy beach with a mountain backdrop is perfect. I love to swim. I love hanging out at the beach.

See, that's exactly why I like that mountains over the beach. I do a lot of whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, and skiing. It's all reflective on hobbies I suppose. Regardless, I can't really relax too well at the beach, too much going on/too many women.

I'll take a cabin by a babbling creek accompanied by a chorus of crickets and a hoot owl solo.

Both. But I pick both A's. The Rockies and sandy beaches.

Hiking in the mountains during the summer when wildflowers are blooming is an incredible experience. Very adventurous. The beach is for being laid back and relaxing.

Early summer - Mountains
Late Summer - Beach
