this couldn't be further from the truth.

Bayou Country Superfest officials are thrilled to death to be in New Orleans over Baton Rouge. Less small town, nitpicking nonsense from local officials and a far better fan experience.

The air conditioning and cushioned seating alone is better than anything Baton Rouge could offer.

Prepared to catch tons of heat for this. I love George Strait. Really do. But man he played for too long. 2.5 hours is a long show for anyone.

Disagree, he was great. When you have the number of hits he has it takes that long to play them. The Ace in the Hole Band may have some age on them but they are still sharp as ever.

Side note, I watched Bruce Springsteen play a 3 1/2 hour show years ago.....that is work considering the way he ran around the stage.

Yea I meant to say at least 55. I think the people on the floor could have filled most of the rest of the dome. Just hard to say exactly

Disagree too. If I sit there for 8 hours he better play that long.

I think the format kinda sucks overall. You’re pretty much confined to your chair all day, nothing to walk around, see or do. They need to split it to two days again, cut an act or 2, or start earlier.

We strolled in around 8:30 and the people around us were like damn where y’all been? And I told them sheeet I’m just here for George Strait. It was nice to spend my whole Sunday doing stuff and driving down to New Orleans around 7.
