TCL makes solid TVs, in sweeping terms they are dollar for dollar as good as Sony, Samsung, and LG but at the upper-mid and high end the Japanese/Korean brands make better panels. My only real issue with them is that they are Chinese and I avoid as many Chinese goods as possible though anything but true high end electronics are going to have some Chinese content in them.

Get the 75 inch on a ROKU platform. $600 Any brand that sells it cheap is fine, TCL or otherwise. Don't even look at the brand, it doesn't matter. Make sure you get 3 year insurance if the LEDs blow out.
