White liberals are disgusting
The degree of self-loathing is mind boggling. And they try and hide it from normal people by denying what's happening right in front of them.
-It’s only Confederate statues, why would you defend them?
-He was a slaveholder, do you think we should honor him?
-He said racist things, why should he be celebrated?
-He wasn't anti-racist enough, so he has to go!
-He disagreed with my political philosophy and I'm deeply offended by that!
And by the end, white liberals will justify the removal of books from libraries and the changing of educational curriculum so as not to offend the sensibilities of people. These posters are useful citizens for Raymond Cocteau in Demolition Man.

How does removing the statue of a traitor to our country erase history?

These men all still exist and all will have their story told. Even if their statue isn’t in the town square.

The far left liberals of today are very sick people. They deserve to be put in mental asylums for the rest of their lives.

The country may be better off had the south won. Some may not like to admit it, but there is an argument.
There is a book about an alternative timeline in which it happened. "If the South Had Won the Civil War" by MacKinlay Kantor.
quote:
The Confederacy was also faced with the issue of slavery, very much contested despite its victory in what came to be known as "The War of the Southern Revolution." With the rest of the world abolishing slavery, Confederates started feeling that they were out of step. Virginia abolished slavery in its territory, followed by Kentucky and North Carolina, and later Maryland and Tennessee. A new political force named the Jeffersonian Party called for abolition of slavery and gained the support of such prominent persons as Stephen Dodson Ramseur, Robert E. Rodes, John Pegram and, later, Leonidas Polk. Finally, Confederate slavery was fully abolished in 1885, the Liberation Bill being adopted with little opposition under the presidency of James Longstreet. Southerners having resolved this by themselves, rather than having the decision forced upon them by a victorious hostile army, helped avoid any lingering bitterness, and no organization resembling the Ku Klux Klan arose.
Fun read

Because it makes whites look superior because TR is riding high on a horse and the black man and Indian are walking behind him.

Only 20 more years, how nice of them.

You better believe FDR is next because of his internment of Japanese Americans during WW2.
In all fairness, the internment of Americans during WWII was pretty damn bad. If someone has chase to bitch, it would be them. I am having trouble remembering the last time a bunch of Japanese rioted and burned down some stores.

If they could have traded 20 years for everything since? Could have avoided lynchings all the way up to the 1960s and etc, no crack epidemic of th 80s, no new Orleans of the early 90s, no KKK? If everything was equal now and all of it was a thing of the past over 100 years ago and stays buried?
