This is silly. Statues aren’t history. They are memorializations of someone, or something, that we find admirable. When a societies values change, and that which the statue commemorates is no longer admired, it should be taken down. This in no way erases history. That is buffoonish.

I don't give a rats arse about the confederate flag, not one bit.
I find it quite annoying that a segment of society whines incessantly about everything that’s “offensive” and that it is everywhere- internet, tv, sports radio, sports tv shows.
I find it scary as hell that every business, network, school, etc. gives in immediately when any of these groups complain, no matter how insignificant. That’s what most people are pissed about.
