I don’t believe that is the driving force for enrollment. My kids have been enrolled in UVA for 4+ years and everyone is completely healthy. My wife has also taught there and I can say that her students were not predominantly immuno-compromised.
It’s probably a “follow the money” situation whereby the mandate has to be executed prior to the end of the school year. Unfortunately, the timing coincides with annual test prep and taking.

Explain something to me. How does mandating a vaccine, that does not stop the spread of a virus, protect immuno-compromised teachers? You should know by now that vaccinated people catch and spread Covid as easily as unvaccinated people.

Then the school should make workable accommodations for the small group of teachers who claim to be immunocompromised so that they are safe; but don't blanket a vaccine on the entire staff. The vaccine is proven to be ineffective in stopping the spread of covid virus. Additionally, there is much evidence to show that harm has been done to thousands of people as a result of receiving it. This board is nuts!

The timing of this makes zero sense. When all other cities and organizations seem to be dropping the mandates like hot potatoes with all the proof that the vaccine does not prevent the spread of virus, why NOW is this board sending a mandate to teachers? Something is FISHY.
