Anyone seeing an uptick in ascending appraisal values of homes that didn't flood? I recall shortly after the flood around September or so, realtors and posters on here asserting that values of non-flooded properties should be increasing in value.

This is not related to the flood, but what impact, if any, will the formation of St. George have on property values within the BR city limits?

That's a lot of guys shelling out some serious coin to shoot 95 and eat slow rollers.

Had a rent house that was worth $115K pre-flood. Made basic repairs with no upgrades. Just sold it for $138.5K

Bought a 2/1 in an old part of Ascension in Jan 16 for 55k, sold a week after storm for 104k. No flood, no water in yard, new paint, cabinets, and bathroom.

I specifically picked it because I knew they'd build on good land first before sprawling to the flood plains.

Regret selling it, rent would have been better.

My dad flooded there along with a few neighbors. Only about 6in-1 ft water but some homes are still getting fixed. Shenandoah wasn't in the clear but for the most part it was. Just unfortunate to my dad and others.
