YES, Kawalski was playing songs nobody else was at the time. Album tracks, not Top 40 Pop/Rock crap. He started at WLCS and ended up at WAIL.........I think. He did not last long, too rebellious and got run outta town. Here's to you Kawalski!!

charles barbier aka the rooster. him and jimmy ott had a talk show together in the early 90s before jimmy started talking betting. also had a tv show on sunday night i believe

Uglee Jock (Jerry Lousteau) was on WIBR. Moved on to B-97 in New Orleans afterwards.

I was in high school in the late 80's, and WFMF (I think) would do Friday night dedications around 8:00 or 9:00 or so to the background of Din Daa Daa.

Does anyone remember any details about that?

I worked at Fun Fair Park in the mid/late 70's and he broadcast live there on Friday Night Date Nights.
