I watched the protest at the church that Gov. Edwards was at yesterday. He was with the State Police and the Sheriff and they hauled a$$ early citing safety concerns. The protestors were headed to the church, some of them where in a school bus from New Orleans. The cops came out only help get the people out of the parking lot of the church. They let the protestors remain in the street holding up traffic in both directions. The cops need to keep there a$$es out of the street. Period. The way they swarm cars and beat on the cars if you try to go around them is ridiculous.
