Nope. The original was actually on S. Eugene near Government St. (sort of across from BR High). It was a tiny little place, but was really neat actually. The one in Village Square was their second location.
I stand corrected. We used to get their Shrimp and Corn soup and Byronz sammich. It was good.

If you mean Silver Moon, you got it backwards.

I'm glad someone else remembered the Chuck Wagon on Government.
Also, there was a husband and wife owned travel agency that did TV ads for years. They both would appear in the ads. Back in the '70s, I guess. Can anybody help me out on the name?
Edit---Just remembered the name....Shaw's Travel.

Man I loved that K&B more than the Perkins@Bluebonnet Location. Not sure why. Would go there with my dad when we dropped my brother off at soccer practice.

Price Leblanc started out selling Rambler automobiles in the BR area.

Great Wall on College, original location.
I loved that original location because every time an adjacent business would close, they would just knock the wall down between them and make it an expansion of Great Wall. It was like six store-fronts worth of expansion.
I miss that old set-up before the Office Depot/WalMart arrival. The little quad area was cool right off the old Coffee Call. You could get you coffee and sit on the benches by Little Wars and Ruffles and Britches. It was great also when you were in high school and out late (past 11pm).
Good times.

If there were two locations and Chimes closed, then okay.

There was a Mrs. Winner's either on Florida or Government near Acadian or College/S. Foster.
