I never knew him but I am still curious.

His wife taught English at the Jr high. She was top three in the worst teachers ever category.

Tullier's

Yes! I remember this place. Don't know many that do, but it was right where the Applebee's or whatever that place next to Pepboys is now.

Wish I had a pic.

I grew up on Annabelle Ave in Old Goodwood. Went to Goodwood Elem, Westdale and Tara.

Well Calvin Lindsley grew up back there. Started bagging groceries at IGA and now owns it. And my old friend Scott Woodward went to Goodwood Elementary and was named Athletic Director at Texas A&M last week. He will be LSU next when they get rid of Alleva.

Frank McLavy is still in the store but yes his daughters and son in law run it mostly. Was he really a principal at Broadmoor? Didn't know that and why would he have left?

In the late 70's/early 80's there was a lake off of Siegen just past I-10. It was about where the back of the Carmax is now.

Does anybody remember it?

There was one where the Wal-Mart and SAMs is now they called Neddy's pond. It was a full hippie hangout. My older brother used to bring me back there to ride dirt bikes.

What about Nettie's Pond where Sam's Club is off of Siegen now. Rope swings and swimming during summer vacation.

The store across from Woolworth in Bon Marche Mall. I think it was Star something? I remember them use to have cheap toys I wanted as a kid.
