Baton Rouge has more murders than New Orleans last 2 months. First time on record

"NOLA had 9 murders in Jul & 7 in Aug. Baton Rouge had 10 & 8. First time on record w/NOLA having fewer murders than BR in consecutive months"

Damn. Knoxville is a similar sized city to Baton Rouge and I don't know that we have 18 homicides on the year let alone the last 2 months.

I find this hard to believe. BR was pretty damn bad in the early 90's if I recall.
I wonder what has happened to cause Nola to calm down with this crap in the last two months? Seems like summer is the busy season for the thugs.

Lol Nola was having like 300 murders a year in the 90s. It was truly a bloodbath.
