So many haters. My god.

Get out more people! Nearly every city in Louisiana, and many outside the state, have Mardi Gras balls.

Washington DC has an annual Mardi Gras ball. St Louis, MO has a Mardi Gras ball. MISSOURI! To mock the La capital city an hour from Nola for having one makes you sound like an uncultured moron.

Nope not at all. Happily married and successful man. Not mad or jealous. Just frustrated with certain folks who lack personal responsibility or sense of foregoing self.

So you are saying that once you have kids your life is over and you should never enjoy it and have fun outside of your kids?

That's just dumb

I think his theory is only for single moms. Married couples can leave their kids with a sitter for a night out or a vacation even. I hope so cause I do it all the time.

About 20 years ago I went to a BR Mardi Gras ball. It was at some big hall on Airline. Grand Hall or something? Maybe called Mystique. It was fun.

St. Louis is the 3rd largest Mardi Gras behind Rio and NOLA. Had a blast with the band in STL many years ago. Dash Rip Rock.

I actually went to one back in the day. I am guessing it was around 2002 or so. I was working at Canes with Beans and she was on the court or something for one of the krewes and she invited a group of us. Had to get a tux and so it was sort of legit. I recall it being a good time.
