I wish my parents had the courtesy to drop me off at the Grandparents before they went out for a night on the town.

So it’s okay single mothers with no self awareness decided to ditch the kids at their grandparents to go out, get hammered and likely hookup with some rando like they’re 20 again. Because that doesn’t sound like what happened to you.

It may as well have been. Do you think it mattered one single bit whether my parents were at the movies or at a bar? No, what mattered was they got some time away from their shithead kid and enjoyed some time themselves. Miserable people make miserable parents.

What's wrong with leaving your child with their grandparents? People do it all the time. Hell my wife and I are planning a weekend trip somewhere soon and planning to leave the little one with his mawmaw and pawpaw.
I get that you think it's trashy mostly because the mom wants to go out drinking and partying, but why does that really matter? Child is safe and cared for, and Mom will be back.

You're absolutely right about what goes down at the BR MGB but this up here^^^ happens every week at the Cadillac Cafe.
Been to the BR MGB and it's the same divorcees as Cadillac. A lot of overlap on that Venn diagram.
The BR MGB is gay but if this is why you hate it, then you also need to be shutting down Olive or Twist, Bin 77, and the bars at Stabs' and J Alexanders.

I went to my first Mardi Gras Ball ever last night in BR with the wife and another couple. It was okay, but the wives got all dressed up and that made for a nice evening. There was also a table of good looking un-escorted young ladies next to us, so it wasn't "just" the divorced wives club.
