I am not far from Magnolia Bridge and the two F-15s we’re hauling arse back to Belle Chase. Kids loved it. Low and loud

It's awesome how quiet they are approaching you. You don't hear them until they've dropped 70,000 pounds on you.

Imagine being a raghead and have 20 flyover with 70K lbs of ordinance raining down

And props to the Vietnam Commies for standing up tall enough against that to win the Vietnam War.

I saw it today close by the mall and BR General and the whine coming out of those 8 engines is so potent.

Crazy it'll be flying for a few more decades.

Passenger car fuel capacity=15 gallons (about 90 pounds)

B52 fuel capacity= 312,197 lbs

Lots of freedom and eagles coming out of those engines.

My daughter was impressed. She was really impressed when I told her that one of those b-52s could wipe out all of Baton Rouge by itself.

Did not see the bombers. Guess they headed back to Shreveport. I’m not far from where you’re located.

Northshore flyover was supposed to be 12:30-12:45 but they passed here about 15 minutes early and I was still inside when I heard them pass.

Could wipe out 20 major cities all by itself, not just BR.

They passed above my office but I was stuck on a conference call.

But I heard that beautiful whistling sound of the B-52s.

That sound will start to go away in about 6 years as we get new engines. There's a thread here on the OT about that too.
