My SO's little shite dog needs a reminder class on how to behave in the house.

I've heard decent things about Larry Benoit, but does anyone else have any other recommendations?

any of the hourly workers at petco can help.

if your dog is acting up, you probably aren't exercising him enough or stimulating his mind.

First of all, it's not MY dog. MY dogs get plenty of work. She has an ankle biter that likes to jump and gets walked 4 times a day.

It's too late. He established dominance first.

Sit.

If you have dogs already then you should know that dog training trains the owners more than the dogs. You sending your SO's dog to a trainer probably won't fix the behavior that your SO is already allowing and enabling.

I started an identical thread last night. I've heard about Larry Benoit too but didn't get any direct recommendations. I just need help with our dog's play biting/mouthing. We're working with him but it's slow going.

Hers is very good at doing nothing/entertaining itself but it likes to jump on doors and people and has a tendency to leave unintentional scratch marks. I think she just needs a touch up and we'll be good, hoping none of this ends up costing her (i.e. me) an arm and a leg.
