Let's just accept the local talent pool for what it is. It doesn't matter what standards a large chain may have. Those standards will never be met at or around BTR.

Wow. I don't think anyone would have guessed this amount of technology for a town back in 1990.

I spent a month in the Baton Rouge airport one afternoon.

It needs anything in there. A horrible experience. How bout just putting the restaurant there and be done with it? No hotel rooms needed for one night meth users. Corporate blvd has that demographic covered.

We need to target a larger, chain restaurant with better quality control. For example like a Panera Bread. While it won't have as high of quality as other Panera's, a large chain like that with standards will maintain better quality control. This sounds like a stupid point but it's a step we can take towards improving efficiency of the airport.

I hope it maintains the quality of the brand, the PJs at the airport sucks.

WTF?

Eh it’s pretty important. The in and out travelers for one night will need a place to eat.

Baton Rouge has the most hostile service of any city I’ve ever lived or been to

It’s ridiculous

How does Gravy feel about this ?

He’ll be good with it as long as the rooms are pay by the hour.

So they need to build a hotel around a restaurant? Why not renovate an existing hotel?

Can't tell you how many Yankees I've been behind in line at one of the BTR restaurants where they try to be nice to the workers who, in turn, treat them like assholes. I always think "this will be their impression of BR forever"

Put a bottle of the gin on the counter today at the grocery store

*angry look, no greeting or anything “I need yo ID”

Couldn’t imagine being an owner seeing customers treated like that

I mean BTR is looking for a developer. They have set the requirement that the hotel have a restaurant.

It's unlike anything I've ever seen. I refuse to stay overnight or do anything in town. And that's home but frick that. It's UNREAL how rude and non give a shite vibe the city gives off.

And I'm a dick. If I recognize it, you got real problems.

Walked into a gas station last week at about 9:30 am and the dude behind the counter had his head down sleeping. Had to wake the dude up. First thing he did when I woke him up was respond to a text on his phone. Didn't even acknowledge me
