Sadly, the little info we have gotten on the critical officer doesn't sound good. Praying he makes it but I get the impression that if he does, there isn't going to be a happy ending due to the head wound.

There is a fringe in this society that thrives on hyping the "us against them" mentality. This fringe is not only based on race and not supporting this fringe, regardless of race, is the only way to combat it.
Starve them out but don't ignore them. Laugh at them. Make fun of them. Vote against them. Defend yourself from them legally. Push them farther into the fringe everyday, every chance you get.

Methinks he was getting funding from somewhere. Because I thought the same thing....where is he getting money to do all of this? Especially if he was sharing a house with multiple people

Anyone who goes on a shooting rampage has mental problems, period. But that doesn't mean you can just ignore the ideology behind their actions. I doubt LSUTANGERINE thinks we should ignore the fact that Dylan Roof was a white supremacist.

He went to a college out of state. He is an intelligent person. He probably comes from a good family and may even have some family money.

I do not suggest that. I belief that his paranoid fit quite well with BLM and he was easily drawn to it, with even more radical views than others.
I'll put it this way, I do not think this would have occurred without BLM in our faces daily.

Mentally unstable and mental illness are far apart though.
