I really like people like you come in here with this claim like it's the very first time someone ever came up with it. Like this is some new idea.
In reality this discussion has been going on for a long time, so much so that it's even an integral part of the comics. This is something that has been fleshed out on paper in the universe that Batman exists in. It's been something he's been confronted with and something his enemies use to their advantage.

That wasn't the point of Batman. He didn't set out to be a one man wrecking crew. He wanted to be a symbol to inspire people to do what is right.
