* AT 932 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS STORM WAS LOCATED
NEAR NAPOLEONVILLE...AND MOVING EAST AT 60 MPH.

THIBODAUX...NAPOLEONVILLE...SOUTH VACHERIE...RACELAND...MATHEWS...
PARADIS...CHACKBAY...DES ALLEMANDS...BAYOU GAUCHE AND BOUTTE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO A BASEMENT OR AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR OF A STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF YOU ARE IN A MOBILE
HOME OR OUTDOORS...MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER AND
PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.

IF A TORNADO OR OTHER SEVERE WEATHER IS SPOTTED...CONTACT THE

Sounds like the storm got stronger after it came through Lake Charles. It was pretty bad here but I havent heard of much damage here.

Thibodaux has a tornado warning now. Possibly three active tornados right now. Denham, Prarieville and Thibodaux all under threat.

question: in a bathroom without window, door closed. anything else i can do? mattresses aren't an option bc I cannot lift any of them. except crib mattress. am i being silly? I am legit serious & terrified.

We just got put through the scariest 30 minute roller coaster over on Jefferson. Couldn't see and the meanest blackest bitch of a cloud circled the entire neighborood I thought the pine trees were coming down. That's one of the nastiest I've ever seen boys.
