The amount of people in this thread that can’t tell OP is making a tongue in cheek joke is astounding.

Is he? These threads happen a lot. He’s basically posting at 11am saying how nice the quarter is.

Is that the joke? Did he actually witness dead bodies instead?

We all know he didn’t actually yell anything at anyone.

i live there now and would never deny its very serious issues, but the whole "why would anyone ever go there!?!!?!" thing on the OT is hilarious

How many of those no room for hate signs do you have in your yard?

More than the number of cats you own?

Serious question . No harm meant. Why do I want to go to New Orleans again ? What is so compelling about New Orleans 2022 that I should choose it before the dozens of places I enjoy more ? I’m not sure the allure of the city can compete with the negatives any more. I’m not saying that in defense of some other place or to talk shite, I just don’t know what’s there that I gotta have.

Cafe du monde at 11 am is probably one of the safest places in New Orleans o

Yeah, probably because all the thugs are still sleeping. Give 'em time. The day is young.

Why did you ever go in the first place and what made you keep going?

What made you stop going?

I know people who love and frequent New Orleans often, and good for them. It just ain't for me.

And that’s okay.

Not everyone likes to go to Disney World every weekend, or go fishing or the the beach every weekend.

Not everyone likes to go tailgate and watch football games

Not everyone likes to go to concerts every weekend.

Some of those things just aren’t for everyone.

That’s for you to answer

Lots of people have never been there, or they have and they love it (especially people from other parts of the country)

Food, better weather than most of the US many times during the year, cheap compared to other cities, history older than the US, aquarium and zoo are pretty top notch, swamp tours for those who have never been, laid back atmosphere.

Certainly isn't for everyone. But that is true for every destination.

He’s poking fun at posters that pile on in every Nola thread. He might actually be in the FQ and if so, he probably sees tourist. Nothing else he has said actually happened, I thought that was pretty obvious.

Lol what? Is a hipster in the Marigny or Bywater going to throw some soy milk on him? Will their rescue dog with a bandana around its neck bark at him?

I haven’t been down there in years (obviously) but I was going to ask the same thing..

Right because people standing in line means the city can’t be a shithole

They never have. Anyone that knows, knows all you have to do is find an empty table and sit down. It’s always been “seat yourself”

Just walk in through the back entrance and find a table

Serious answer. No one gives a shite if you want to go or not. New Orleans still has great restaurants, sports and other entertaining events. Some people are into those things.
