Ive heard of him but cant recall where . Thought it was a woman's stage name at first. Why should I know someone who few will care about in 10 years?

This thread is the first time I've heard of him. I'm a younger half GenX'er. WHY DON'T YOU KNOW ABOUT OUR SHITTY MUSIC OLDER PEOPLE

Well, now I dont know if I've heard of him because there is a woman called Bhad Bharbie so maybe that's who I had heard of. This is like the Jeezy, Weezy, Yeezey thing. Don't know, and besides this thread catching my eye, don't care.

I say we start a new trend and get a comedian to do the half time show. Get some laughs in for 30 mins.

Just give me 30 minutes of commercials. Not watching the halftime anyway.

Swift turned it down as NFL wouldn’t give her rights to the performance footage

I'd much rather see this guy at the half time show. He represents the old America that many of us here remember. An America that is slowly coming back and based on hard work, mindfulness, responsibility and following your dreams. To me this guy is more of a superstar and a role model than that wannabe transgender bad rabbit guy.
I'm ready for the downvotes.

Yeah, me either. I didn't know who the Lamar guy was either, but I watched it. He sucked. I get it though. I'm not their target audience. I'm almost 50 years old, but that music has no appeal to me.

he won a pulitzer you ignorant POS

He won for his virtuosic songwriting, rhythmic dynamism, and for offering affecting vignettes capturing the complexity of modern African-American life

This will be 6 consecutive years of rap/hip hop.

Rihanna, Usher, The Weekend, Shakira, and Maroon 5 are definitely not Hip Hop.
