They should be okay. That's a little bit further away from the drainage ditch than me on the other side but if it's like this side they probably have water in the road right now. But I can't get to over there so I don't know if the elevation is different.

Chantilly is closed now. I just passed an ol baw coming down his driveway in just his boxers to move his truck up higher.

I used to live on So. Tiger Bend about a mile from Hoo Shoo Too. Keep an eye on Bayou Manchac. 1983 flood stage was 18.8' this one will be 21.5' and won't crest till noonish Monday 08/15. It will be very slow to fall afterwards. Move to safe ground if you can. Stay safe.

I'm hearing reports that every house in White Oak has been flooded. Total devastation over there.

Also Wards Creek still rising hard as Santa Maria will soon be 100% flooded

I'm in Green Trails right now and as far as I know everything is fine. I'm in the second filing by Southern Oaks club (the old clubhouse).

ETA: the part by tiger bend is fine. A neighbor just sent me some pics. The retention pond isn't even full.

I can't imagine this is true. Not every house. I'm going there this morning and will provide an update.

That is the complete wrong move. You don't go into an attic during an event like this, that is how you get trapped.

Any idea about the flooding around the intersection of Lost Oak and Woodlake in White Oak Landing? We have family at that intersection and can not get in touch with them. Any info would be appreciated.

A friend posted this about an hour ago. I don't have any other information and am not in that area, but if this helps:

Update from southeast EBR. Jones Creek has come up into probably the back half of White Oak Landing. Woodlake is flooded all the way to mid point between the second and third stop signs coming from St. Michael's. The back of my neighborhood, Lake at White Oak, has water in some way or another. Those houses who were on the bluff or on the lake are probably taking in water and/or flooded. My parents seem to have about another 5-7 feet before they get it in their house. The curve at George O'Neal/Antioch/Monitor is flooded out and impassable. Tiger Bend is still rising. At this point we have to worry about the Amite and Bayou Manchac so today will be the day to get out if need be but we are going to pray that it starts draining soon!!!
