I gave a girl a ride in my wagon
She crawled in and took control
She was tired as her mind was a-draggin'
I said get some sleep and dream of rock'n'roll

'Cause like a princess she was laying there
Moonlight dancing off her hair
She woke up and took me by the hand
She's gonna love me in my Chevy van and that's all right with me

Who in the world downvotes a classic rock song from the day??

A name would be good. ?

Oh my! It's not your fault, but apparently your parents didn't train you properly w/ classic rock and roll. That would be Linda Ronstadt. Here she is singling "You're No Good" live on the tv show, "The Midnight Special."

Went to jail for insider trading

I think not. Perjury or or lying to the FBI or something actually. She did not technically inside trade.

I went to college in the early 70s. Id love to go back. Mini skirts, halter top, no bras. Going to class was always an experience.
Sexual liberation, great music, VW minivans, no aids.

I bet she's enjoying Comey' legal problems. I didn't' realize Martha Stewart was such a babe in her younger days until I saw the Netflix show about her.

The Era of Free Love was fabulous. All you had to do was show up.

Then those 4 letters...AIDS...and Free Love ended over night.

Thanks a lot gay dudes, for the Black Plague of the New Millennium.

Yes she did but the perjury during an investigation was easier to prove. She was tipped off and she did sell the shares.

"Martha Stewart, the founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, also became embroiled in the scandal after it emerged that her broker, Peter Bacanovic, tipped her off that ImClone was about to drop. In response, Stewart sold about $230,000 in ImClone shares on December 27, 2001, a day before the announcement of the FDA decision. Stewart's involvement would have never come to light had Doug Faneuil, Bacanovic's assistant, not disclosed it to investigators.[1] Although Stewart maintained her innocence, she was found guilty and sentenced on July 16, 2004, to five months in prison, five months of home confinement, and two years' probation for lying about a stock sale, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice."

Didnt read whole thread but do feel sorry for young guys that had to grow up in the last 20 years looking for a decent girl. Most of the girls these days are overweight and have a higher sense of self because of social media . I mean if you are a good looking dude that's great but most average looking dudes are told they are not good enough by some average looking overweight girl.

Back in the early 80's/ 90's i'd say 90% of the girls were not overweight and no social media to compare you to thousands of other dudes. If you had a decent game talking to a girl you had a good shot. The average girl back then didnt have a big head propped up by social media making her think she was a 10 . All this to say the days gone by were so much better.

I don't think I missed a single episode of "The Avengers" when she was playing Emma Peel back in the 60's.

When she showed up on GOT as Olenna Tyrell, I was impressed with her acting chops at that age.
