I’m in the process of switching from Progressive to Geico. 18 months ago, we switched from USAA to Progressive because USAA was going to double when I added my 16 year old with no car. Progressive has increased the last 2 renewals and now we’re adding another car, so I shopped it and Geico was about $250 cheaper for 6 months with the new car.
I just ran the numbers on Goosehead and Geico was still much cheaper.

Is a franchise brokerage. They are no different than Joe's insurance on Main Street, except they have a franchise fee and revenue sharing agreement. TWFG (Woodlands Financial Group) is the same setup

USAA can’t compete in Louisiana anymore. When I called to cancel, there was no effort at retention. I was paying about $1200 every 6 months for wife and I with 2 cars. Rate was going up to $2400 just to add the 16 year old driver, then even more for a car. I finally had to draw the line. My new policy with Geico is going to be $1350 for 6 months for 3 cars, 3 drivers. I’ll be shopping at every policy renewal from now on.

AllState has me by the balls. I saw a quote in an old email from 10 yrs ago. It's insane how much it has increased over that time for the same coverage, same-ish vehicle status.

You don’t live in New Orleans, do you? I’d do illegal shite for those quotes.
