there it is folks. the full coverage guy.
Do you really want me to break it down by saying liability, comp and collision, etc?

The point I was making is that it's not just state minimum liability.

In 2015, I had a front wheel axle break on a 04 Yukon with 280K miles.

Geico gave me almost $10K for the Yukon when the repair quote came in close to that amount. They did not raise my rates.

I happily accepted their offer.

the whole process took less than 2 days

I have State Farm, but the statewide (LA) rates just went up so I'm considering changing. Probably already mentioned, but the general rates in Louisiana are insane compared to other states. I lived in Mobile and it was nice to be able to pay so much less. Moved to Louisiana and proceeded to immediately get bent over. Louisianians cannot drive for shite.

I actually saved over $100 bucks a month by switching to Geico from Liberty Mutual for the same coverage.

Statefarm, because Wife had it on house and her car, so i went with them also.

Had Geico, and they were nothing but perfect. Got shite taken care of in minutes, took care of me, and helped me in any way.

I think were getting taken to woodshed by State Farm, they do like to screw people. But wife pays for the shite, so no cares given.

huge difference between carrying 25/50/25 limits and 100/300 or 250/500. low liability limits is a far cry from full coverage. Just an insurance pet peeve.

Safeco. My rate went down last year and stayed the same this year. You have to have a great driving record though.

It's not that people in LA can't drive.
It's our litigation happy culture
The state of our roads
And I'd like to think, in part, outlet drive thru daquari stores.
(Last one is pure conjecture)

I just switched from Liberty Mutual after 20 years. They continued to increase the cost with no claims on my part. I switched to AAA and am saving $600 a year for the same coverage.

see chadboys post. We all had rate increases due to the floods in north la and then the floods in south la. then there were a few major hail storms last year also.

Can rates also go up with it for whatever they would consider unsafe driving?

It's our litigation happy culture Yes, but this is a national phenomenon and therefore every americans rates go up from it

The state of our roads LA has far and away the worst roads in the country

And I'd like to think, in part, outlet drive thru daquari stores. LA has the highest DUI rates in the country but let's be honest, it isn't from the drive thrus

While most of your points are correct, people in LA are shitty drivers. No other way around it. They are the worst I've ever seen.

I've lived and driven in six different states and Louisiana drivers are absolutely awful. Just general incompetence when driving.

Geico. I took the AARP defensive driving course and saved some money from that. Geico's always been very helpful.
