Do you think autistic people are retarded?
No. I think autism, by and large, doesn't exist to the extent that we are purporting.

Probably not, but people like easy generalizations so they have some kind of answer to things that are probably not related.

And parents need reasons to justify their child’s behavioral problems and/or idiosyncrasies.

Yeah, it's easier to believe your kid has some kind of disorder than actually working with them on their behavior.

35/50. Guess I'm slightly autistic

My wife got a 9, smiled big and said "ha I'm less autistic than you." I called her insensitive and stormed off
Needs to find its way to the podcast.

im not autistic, just an introvert. i would like to cross the people with high scores with those that scored Introvert on the personality test
Same score as me and I'm definitely an introvert. INTJ - my work had us take Myers Briggs

Same here.
However, I took it twice - got ENTJ and INTJ.
I'm practically the poster child for "ambivert".

Your score was 16 out of a possible 50.
Scores in the 0-25 range indicate little or no Autistic traits.

I took it a few times and I'm like 90% introverted so it's not even really close. I'm not a shut in or anything. I'm married with kids and in a senior position in my company.
I do not like big crowds, prefer a decent amount of alone time, prefer to work alone, etc. I'm the poster child for introverts

Yeah, even extroverts need alone time. Sometimes that's where these tests fail.
I prefer to be around people much of the time but my alone time with nature is up there as well.

The test is, if you finish, you aren't autistic.
