In honor of Coach Garrido, let's reflect on some of the best postgame speeches / melts we've ever seen.

The Greatest Melts

quote:

If this was a fricking fistfight or a gangfight, which most of you don’t know one fricking thing about, WE. WOULD BE. DEAD.

quote:

If it was a boxing match, and each individual took the beating that we took here today, I wouldn’t have to be doing this. I’d just come and visit your arse in the hospital and say when you get the fricking wires off of your mouth from the broken jaw and you can see again because your eyes are swollen down and you can walk again because the guy just punched you in the gut 55 fricking times, all I’d have to say is all that when you get better we’ll have a little chat about how this guy just. fricking. Destroyed you.

quote:

In 15 minutes you guys will probably all be fricking fine with this so I’ll just sum it up this way, as fast as I can. That is the most humiliating game in the last fricking 10 years I’ve been involved with.

RIP Coach

I saw this a little while ago. I didn't like him much when LSU played against his teams, but he is a college baseball legend..

He was introduced at Alex Box along with Skip during the LSU v. Texas baseball series a couple weeks ago.

He was a chode and had no sense of perspective. He was good at CSF when college baseball wasn't much of anything, and he got a reputation which allowed him to recruit really well so as the sport grew he started becoming a prime destination for the best recruits. That was his key to success.
