The last thread was back from 2015 so was hoping y'all have may have found a new connection. Where I got them before "Boudreauxs" has moved. He was great because I only had to drive to Braselton to pick the up.

So my only option is Dekalb Farmer market.

I live in Athens so was hoping not to drive ALL the way to Marietta or Dekalb but may not have an option.

Any recommendations recently?

Get the crawfish app. Easy way to connect to vendors.

ETA- Atlanta might be a little far from LA for crawfish app to be very active, but you might as well check it out. Works great in Dallas.

thanks.
I found some companies that ship but curious if anyone has tried that. What the kill count is like when you ship them.

I've picked them up from the airport before and it's normally not a huge loss.

I get them shipped live next day delivery to my house here in Chattanooga. I haven’t had any issues with the process.

Actually the crawfish boil there this year was a disaster.

Atlanta Hwy Seafood in Gainesville used to carry them. Haven't tried them in a few years though.

cajun meat market in roswell may still carry them, used to require an advance order.

dekalb farmers market, gets them, but you can't order in advance so you'll need to get there when they open on saturday morning.

How much do you get shipped? Overnighting a few sacks must cost a fortune

Call the cajun meat company in Marietta / east Cobb. They get them shipped in every weekend during the season. I don’t know the price live. I’ve only purchased boiled.

ETA didn’t see the Athens part

Gulf seafood market in Villa Rica is definitely a hike from Athens but he has the cheapest prices. Cajun Meat Company in Marietta has them also, Kathleen’s Catch has blue crab, I’m not sure about crawfish you may want to call them. There’s one in johns creek and Milton. New Orleans crawfish and seafood has them too, but they’re also in Marietta.
