Atlanta, we came in. The roads were dead this morning. Buckhead is a ghost town. All the businesses around us are closed. We may pack it up and leave at noon.
The storm is supposed to come through here this afternoon.

Just got a "robo-call" from the Mayor's office requesting all businesses close and they will update tomorrow.
MARTA, all government and the Delta at the airport are closed.
The storm is supposed to be worse this afternoon and tonight.
ETA: I'm paying my workers for today and sending them home now.

My firm is closed, SO's isn't
Of course, they thought it was awesome to do a press release to talk about how their Houston employees were back at work while most people's homes were still inundated. In other words, they're awful human beings, so it isn't surprising.

Open today but closed tomorrow due to contract with Gwinnett County, who has told us not to provide services tomorrow. Nice that I work on the crappy day and tomorrow will be a nice day.

Schools and daycare closed, my job has more flexibility than wife's job so I stayed home with child. Yay.

Heading out Friday with Tim Chandler on Guntersville.
They closed the office today in Birmingham. Not sure why. It's not doing much today. I'm one of four people that made it in today.

I'm in the office right now. The SO didn't have to go in. I'll probably leave after lunch and work from home.

Work closed down for Monday and Tuesday. Kind of feels like a weird Christmas vacation

Temps in the 50s, rain, stores cleared of bread and water
In other words, the average Atlanta snow day

You will really like Tim. He is a great guide and a very good fisherman. He and I have fished together a few times.
Good luck out there and tell Tim I said hello..
