why does there need to be clubs. Our entire mantra is just to live and enjoy the life we have because there is no eternity and if there is, then we messed up.

Also I expect this to be deleted as it has a trigger word in the title.

In most parts of the country, you are judged for not believing in a higher power or having faith.

The online atheist community isn't enough to help push back that stigma.

What exactly would an "atheist club" do? Just sit around talking about how god doesn't exist? Seems like even if that's something you believe, the converstation would get boring pretty quick....

You: "Hi, I'm Coyote and I don't believe in God".

The group: "Hi, Coyote. Thanks for sharing. We don't believe in him either"

You: "Well that's great".

The Group: "Yeah it is".

Then what?

No.

In a red state such as Louisiana, we have to put up with the constant judgment from peers because of not having faith.

EDT: Spreading logic.

They would then go out and rent anti-Christian billboards and stuff.

How would that help?

Atheist aren't anti-christian, we just simply have no faith in the divine.

Again, missing the point.

Shtt like this, is a waste of money, time and does not represent the whole of a community. Your duty isn't for god, it is for the community.

You could have searched Google and found this information in under 10 seconds, but you felt the need to ask on TD? Hmm...

NOSHA is one that I'm aware of, but a search turns up a number of other groups as well.

no, I get it. You're one of those SJW wanting to stamp out what you perceive to be a bad thing in this world and make everyone else bend to your will.

No. Athiests don't believe in a god and that's the end of it. They don't gather in a building once a week to talk shite about other peoples' beliefs. That's what Christians do.

Sure- They meet once a week, usually Saturday or Sunday, where they have a speaker each week, usually the same guy and he lectures about there not being a god ann about people who believe in god. After the lecture they ask you for money to promote their cause. And don't forget to renew your membership!
